I thought it was about time that I put something out here to explain why I am taking a few months off in February, March and April. For those of you who don’t know me or have not seen me, we are having another addition to the family. In fact my last wedding is tomorrow until the end of April……. I will be missing the running around but don’t think I can continue doing a full days wedding and trying to fit past people without knocking them out the way with my belly!!!  I am still doing photoshoots until the end of January but have promised come 1st February that I will try and rest!! (OK then!)

At least it will give me some time to up date my blogs with photos of weddings and the photoshoots I have been doing over the last few months as just lately I haven’t had the time.  I would like to thank everyone who has booked me this year and I have had the pleasure of meeting, by doing photos of your family or children. I will be continuing to keep up to date with any baby books that have already been started (so please don’t worry!) Drop me a message, email or give me a call! Knowing me I will be a bit bored before the baby arrives.

I did say that Baby Scott is soon to be arriving but I have kept my maiden name for work. I should really say Baby Wordley…..

Heres hoping everyone has a lovely christmas and a very happy new year.

Lisa, Paul, Tye and Bump :-)

This post as been a long time coming. But with so many different things going on lately its only now that I am waiting for my new arrival to come that I have had chance to post weddings on my blog. One of my last Summer weddings was back in September at the amazing Brownsover Hall Hotel in Rugby, its a lovely venue and I love to photograph there. Not only is there great photos to be taken inside but the landscape around the hotel is stunning and does not get shown off as much as it show. The couple that I was lucky enough to photograph there was Christine & Guenter Morrison, they had their marriage take place and then their breakfast meal in the grand hall. Throughout the day we had time to escape down to the canal and then take some photos around the coach house. Christine looked amazing and Guenter looked like one very happy man. Waiting for their album to arrive  back now to relive more memories for them. Wishing you both the best in the future and congratulations.

I must admit that Dunchurch Park Hotel is one of my favourite venues to photograph and even though I have photographed many weddings there, it was so nice to find a garden that I have not used before. Throughout the day the sun was with us and it must of been on of the nicest weekends we have had so far for this summer. So it was an ideal place to find, the lovely gardens for photos with the sun popping through the trees. Everything that went into chelsea and Kieran’s wedding was amazing and the details looking perfect! We really enjoyed photographing this wedding and me falling in the marsh was priceless! For my next wedding I will be bring a spare change of clothes :-)

Eight Month Baby shoot for Sebastain’s Year Book. hat a cheeky choppy. Didn’t want to sit still for anything but would of been up and walking around if he had his choice!

Baby Madison is 4 months old and I don’t know where the time has gone since I last met up with a Newborn Madison and Charlotte and Andrew. Every photoshoot happens differently. Sometime babies sleep, sometimes they are wide awake and sometimes they don’t want to look at the camera and smile! There is nothing that can be done apart from wait, walking around and bit and hopefully get a few photos from the session. Madison did make me smile at the end of the shoot as she did not want to smile at the camera however getting changed at the end I got lovely smiles! Maybe next time we may get more. Saying that though she was still a delight to photograph. I have attached a photo from here newborn shoot just to show how much she has grown in 4 months! As the saying goes “not a baby for long”

Newborn baby shoot today was with Little Grace. Her mum and dad came to have photos with Grace who  was only two weeks old. She was so good and by the end we got some lovely photos of her. There are many more to follow for Richard and Claire but for the time being here are a few.

This week I have been staying in a beautiful house on the outskirts of St Ives in Cornwall with my family. Our view over looking Porthmeor Beach was second to none, even when the sun was not shining. And just so we didn’t get used to having dry sunning weather we had good storms, high winds and flooding! Going by the weather report we ventured out down the coast to find a lighthouse we could see from our house, the weather being perfect for low light photography. Packed with cameras, ruck stacks, tripods and touches we climbed down to the beach just in time for sunset. I only have a couple of photos from my I phone but looking forward to downloading my raw files from my 5D. I was shooting on Shutter Speed 15″ f20 ISO 100. Picking up misty water from the long exposure. Will post these when I am home untill then here are a few….

I recently photographed the McGregor family for their parents wedding anniversary. It was an evening for all the family to get together and have some photos done. At first it to some time to get a few photos but by the end I had many to go through. I have not been able to put this blog up until now due to this Photoshoot being a surprise and present for their parents.

If you are look for a gift and want to give some thing personal, why not get the family all together for a family photoshoot. Available to come to any destination around the Rugby/Warwickshire area. Give me a call on 07903733270 or email to lisa@lisascottphotography.com for more information.

I first met Stacey & Dan back in April of 2011 and then it seemed like forever to their wedding. However as the saying goes “time does fly” The venue was at Kilworth House in Leicestershire and the setting was beautiful. Emotions were running high all day and it was a great experience to be a part of their wedding day. I started photographing at Staceys parents house for the bridal prep and then moved to Kilworth house for the service and reception. The day went by perfectly and Stacey looked stunning, and not forgetting Dan the groom who never stopped smiling all day.

The wedding of Elaine & Chris took place at St John’s church in Clifton then following at Dunchurch Park Hotel, I have to admit that the service maybe one of the best services I have had the chance to photograph, main reason being the Vicar who married Elaine & Chris was the mother of the bride. From beginning to end there were plenty of smiles! Throughout the day we nicked 10 minutes of time to pop into Dunchurch village to find a few random back drops. Here are a few of my favourites and of course loads more to come once the most important people have seen them all! Congratulations again!

Any comments welcome. If you are planning a wedding or getting married at Dunchurch Park Hotel get in touch for a chat on 07903733270.
